I just installed a used 95t. Everything works except two of the push in nobs to turn on talkback and frequency counter. They are stiff and dont push in at all. What can I do to fix this.thanks

Use some electric contact cleaner and try to carefully get the knobs to unfreeze maybe, sometimes you may need to take a pair of Needle noses Pliers and slowly try to pull the knobs out, they may be pushed in and stuck, older radios do this, had a grant that I had to do this with and use a bit, I mean a little bit of 3 in 1 oil to loosen the knobs as they were pushed in and they would not come back out.
Also make sure they aren't already pushed in as well. Or vise versa. The electric contact cleaner would be the 1st to try.

I can take the knobs off but where do I spray the contact cleaner. They have no movement whatsoever.

So they won't pull or push?? Have you tried using some needle noses on them and don't over due it, but try to get them to pull or push, you may need to take the main holding nut off to get inside of the actual part. This may require taking the front bezel off to spray in the contact cleaner. A photo of the part might help me at least see it as well as others. I am sure someone knows about the 95T!! I know the ones I had issues with were frozen in place and pushed in, I had to push them in a bit further and use some spray to get them to come out fully.

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
