Xforce 200HD

I won the XForce AMP in a contest on one of my forums. It had no instructions.Anyone know where there is any? Been into radio's for ages and have been told not to drive one too hard. I would say no more then 3 watts.

For the most part when you buy an illegal hand made product it comes with no paper work. That said there is some good information right on their web site.

The TnT 350 is the same amp only class B biased, you could always go off the specs on that and be good.

All that said the 200HD is a tough little amp that can be worked harder then a Palomar or Texas Star. Being fan cooled if you go easy with it that amp will last for years and run cool. Something like a 2-4 watt carrier and 20-35 peak watts input should work great.

The correct size amplifier to match the 98VHP is really, really large. Sixteen 2SC2879 sounds about right.

As for the phrase "High Drive".

This phrase has two possible meanings:

1) "We knew you wanted to see this printed on it, so here it is."

2) "Please blow it up and come back to buy another one. Soon."

I really like that explanation. I'm going to use it the next chance I get.

Back in the day, someone would ask me about a small linear like that. The inevitable question was "Can I drive it?".

Quick answer was "Yes, but it will be a short trip straight into to the ditch".

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
