Sirio P2000 mobile antenna??

anyone heard anything about this antenna yet Sirio p2000,, has a pretty long whip (69") compared to the sirio 5000.

Its about 6" shorter than the Sirio Performer/Turbo 5000 whip. Its the same length as the Sirio 3000 which is about a S point or so down on a CB signal meter to the 4000/5000.

ok,, for some reason I was thinking the 5000 was shorter than that

edit:

actually I just measured the whip on my 5000 and its 68"

My guess it's the same as the 5000 series with a lighter gauge wire for the inductance coil which should explain the power handling difference.

I had a 5000 trucker series and it worked well until last August when it took a lightning strike while I was driving down the highway.

The stainless steel whip completely burned off and the coax connector blew out, not to mention about $30,000 in electrical and electronic damage to a 2013 Volvo semi truck.

Yes the turbo 5000 is a non handle version as well as the megawatt 4000 and the new high power or rigid maybe they call it. All 3 of these have no handle.

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
