Located in Sam's #219 is the Cobra 142 GTL PhotoFact . Does anyone have a digital copy? I seem to have lost my hard copy and obliterated my digital copy. I was attempting to help Kaos and couldn't find my information.
Sad part is that I had 20+ years of modifications and notes attached to both the hard and digital copies :-( .

I have never had the 142 manual my self but did use the TRC-450 mobile radio for the alignments and the 142 schematic off cbtricks site. I believe the washington base radio has the same adjustments as the 142 radio.
never did find the sams for this radio either. hope this helps some.

the President Washington version has the PC385 board in it also.. this is the version just before the Uniden Washington radio. I had to do some searching to find the sams on this one to verify it was the same.

look at the trc-450 service manual and see if it has the same lay out as the 142 radio. the trc-450 has a voltage chart.it is over on cbtricks.this is a mobile but will work for a base radio as far as the main board.

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
