Ubitx is now for sale, I know a few here including me built the bitx40 (40m qrp rig),, now you can buy the ubitx multi band 3-30mhz hf qrp kit for only $109 till xmas, way more functions than the original bitx40!! and just like the bitx40 the main board comes completely assembled so its a pretty easy kit to put together

Me too. My 3 year old is spoiled and cleared me out already. Planning on ordering after the 1st

from what I read, the first batch is sold out already, so after xmas for me too.

Took a day to sell off the first batch they have made up.
The price goes up to 129 US after Christmas.

Yes. I was thinking of it as a tinkering rig. You know replace the IRF-510 with 520 / 530 and play around some.

I've tried both the IRF-520 and 530 in my BitX40 when the 510 bit the dust. Neither performed anywhere near as well as the 510. The 520 was better than the 530. Hint: Look at the input capacitance.
