Brings back memories of Kenwood ads from the '80s.
I don't know why I seem to recall the TS-120S having a red LED display, but it clearly did not as it's blue like the TS-820/S.
Back in late '85 another local and myself were teaching a Novice class. One of the students bought a TS-120S and brought it to the class. The other instructor had a 40m Hustler on his car so we ran a coax into the room from the car, set up the rig, and I proceeded to bang out a QSO with a station in Wyoming on my old el cheapo straight key!
Cool little rig.
