I know the amp has been sold but upgrading the short power wires is 100% pointless. The current still goes through small fuses.

I appreciate your non-relevant comments. Apparently you didn’t look closely at the pictures, In addition the fuse holders were upgraded. Yes current passes through the fuses duh... the larger wire allows them to pass more current rather than being current starved. This is more than just larger input wire look at the wire on the board. I love people who know nothing about electronics and try to instruct everyone else. I’ve ready a number of your post.

It's refreshing to hear from an expert who knows more than the amp builder who has been in the business for over 35 years. LOL

As he said above, I know this has already been sold ........
But, you sold it with a false, untrue statement.
You did post it as "NIB" , (New in Box) .....
That is a false, untrue statement.
As soon as you touched it with a soldering iron to make modifications / upgrades, the unit is not any longer " New in Box " .....
You should know that .......
Just sayin' .............

In all fairness, the soldering does look nice.
Since when did texas star replace the 2290 with two mosfets?

Psycho, Texas Star did this within the last 2 years er so. I was really disappointed to see them do this. I would not even want a new 667 at this point.

Cut the building cost and raise the prices. I wonder if they perform anywhere close to older style.
