Wiring Bearcat mic to Stryker 94hpc

Been using the bearcat 880 for years, just picked up a Stryker 94hpc.
I don't like the channel controls on top of the mic, I've also got several BC mics as I've just bought new replacements instead of fixing the old ones. I believe my old mics just have wiring issues. Since that's all, I'd like to wire them up with the RJ-45 plugs to use with the 94hpc.
Below I have the layout for both mics.
I just need to know how to match them up?


Stryker 94hpc is:
1: Blue NC
2: Red TX/UP/DWN
3: White Audio
4: Black Shield
5:NC
6:NC
7:NC
8:NC

Uniden Bearcat is:
PIN COLOR FUNCTION
1: Yellow Audio HOT
2: BLACK RX switching
3: RED TX switching
4: N/C
5: SHIELD
6: N/C

And what would be the best way to get the shield into the RJ-45 , a piece of heat shrink first?

Does the Stryker mic have any electronics inside? That red #2 wire seems to do a lot of things.

It does have "up" and "down" buttons for channel switching on top of the mic.

The 94hpc wiring is provided by Stryker for those that wish to use an aftermarket mic.

I thought that Stryker uses a powered electret mic? Is the BC 880 an electret as well?

I don't know, I've been using the bearcat for years and never had to mess with anything. But the wiring diagram doesn't show phantom power for the 94hpc mic.

They do not need to have true phantom power to power a tiny electret. Well you will know as soon as you hook it up.
