Strangest radio I have ever seen. 10, 6 and 2 Mtr.

Good only for repeaters really. If you have a local 10m or 6m repeater I would be inclined to have one but otherwise it is useless......for me anyway.

I agree, unless you have 6 and 10 meter repeaters in your area those bands won’t have much use, but don't forget 29.600 and 52.525 simplex. They're a lot of fun when those bands are open. One of the first things I would do is program those two frequencies in my scan list.

They work fine with a quad band antenna. The TYT will "receive only" on the AM CB frequencies.

Back in the day, there were many locals on 6 meters ragchewing. It was the 2 meters of today. We have a local 6 meter repeater that came online about 2 years ago, but they ruined the experience by linking it with the local 2 meter machine. I have one local old timer that will talk with me on 6 meter simplex. You just can't pry people away from 2 meters. Luckily, there's still a little following on 10 meters.
