Now on a side note, that’s a pretty sweet channel knob, makes me think of Arthur C Clark or Indiana Jones. Wonder where they got that thing at?

In case you want to check it out yourself... he also has a lot of Yaesu and Icom parts. I figured anybody with that sweet channel knob would have an echo board for a Yaesu but no such luck.
