I'd say next time try the Mossberg Shockwave , but wouldn't be much left to take a picture off .

That's a very old hand carved fishing rod. Tapered solid wood with no flex. 
Piece of wood on bottom right side is to wrap the line around. Can't see it in photo but tip end (top) has a metal sleeve with an eye.

Have done killed three rattlers down here already. I jus kill 'em, clean 'em, an eat 'em. Ain't nuthin better than fresh rattler, unless ur talk'n 'bout fresh possum that jus come out the south bound end of a dead north bound cow.
I carry my cobra .22 magnum derringer loaded with shot shells.last year i shot 24 copperheads that were near the unload augers on grain bins. Those mag shotshells sure play hell with their heads
im an enabler too.but dang i kept it 9n my holster loaded hangin on my belt every time i loaded last summer up into fall.1 copperhead ,water moccisin ,rattlesnake bite isnot good
I got rattlers all over down here. Warm weather and rain this year have been breeding ground. Very cautious around the place. Got a 5 footer last year.
