How do you rate the Uniden PC-122?

In another thread I have asked for help troubleshooting my PC-122. Figured this would be a good time to also make a poll: What do you think of the PC-122 (both original and XL)? Use whatever criteria you like, and post comments if you feel like it.

Pros:
NB, linear AM modulator, AM through SSB filter, small size, front mic socket, with NPC-RC is a big AM audio rig.
Cons: none for me.

Isn't there a Radio Shack version with same board? I owned one and remembered reading that it was supposed to be the same. I'd like to run across a NOS 122. That'd be nice.
