20200417_083831.jpg Looking to make a few mic adapters I need that arent available on the market but im having a hard time locating the barrels the sockets mount in.
I saw one video where they file out the end of a pl259 barrel then glued the female mic housing in but that doesnt seem very sturdy. Id like to use the right parts for this. Anyone have a clue where to find these barrels and/or a part name/number?
Thank you folks!

Ok so some say these are a "generic" type connector made in China but they are also known as aviation connectors gx series. I still havent found the bare housings yet but im not done looking.

Google those, you will figure out which ones needed. I found some 6 pin marked aviation plug. Were cheaper to buy, better quality, and in quantity.
They dont make what I need, ive looked, emailed and called. I need 6 pin rci male to 5 pin cobra female. I can make a cable adapter but id rather make a barrel. It's starting to look like these are a workman product only. I cant even find the housings on Alibaba though in still looking.

The adapter is so I can use a 6 pin wired eq on my 2995 and my 5 pin 148gtl or the 2000. Mic in to the eq then out is also 6 pin and I need a 5 female. I really dont want to add another length of mic cable lol, its already almost 6' long

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
