Rock on! Good to hear it was that simple. This is a rare failure. Best I can tell that chip only fails in radios from the first few years' production. Later radios almost never have this problem. I guess the old adage Practice Makes Perfect applies to chip production. Only took them a few years to get the kinks out.

Might want to start with the electrolytic caps. Tends to cause squirrelly behavior when they start to fail.

ordered another tc5032p fixed my second counter now i have 2 working counters

ordered the tc5032p chip took old one out put in the replacement counter is back in action !

Bear in mind that the "92.200" display is a symptom, and doesn't indicate by itself which of several breakdowns can cause it.

Like "My car won't start". More than one way that can come about. If there's no spark, rebuilding the carb and fuel pump won't make it run.
