Is pasta as important as toilet paper now?

I used to think backed up lines at Wally World was only a problem in my part of the world, after traveling for work and shopping at Wally World in different states, im pretty sure the backed up lines are by design.

Actually I'm 30 miles north east of McAllister. I live in Quinton OK, if I need to do some major shopping, McAllister is the closest big town.

been there too.advantage of driving trucks
Lol, yeah you truck drivers see some country side. At least you've seen the part of Oklahoma I live in. Most people hear Oklahoma and picture all flat land, and a lot of the western side is flat. I couldn't live in western Oklahoma. But I love the area of Oklahoma I'm in, I can't see myself living anywhere else. Someone told me Kansas had some mountains, IDK? Never been there, but I picture flat when I hear Kansas.

Pasta is a little hard to find around here. Since having covid 8 months ago, all my wife can eat is pasta tossed with a little butter and Italian seasoning, and pop tarts. The butter has only been doable for the last two months. She says everything else tastes so horrible she can't choke it down. Maybe others are experiencing this too?

Try pasta al burro….no it’s not donkey pasta. LOL

Boil the pasta in salted water. When it boils add some olive oil. Drain when cooked but keep some of that water separate for later if needed. Put pasta back in pot. Add lots of butter and some milk or 1/2 & 1/2. Stir. Add some of that water you kept aside. Make sure it’s not dry. Add more butter and or 1/2&1/2 to your liking. Serve and add parmigiano Reggiano on top….not that Kraft garbage ok. LOL MMMMM…yummy!!!! My Italian born mothers receipe. If she knew I would have to turn in my Italian card!! LOL

I can relate. I had it back in February of 2020. Took me 8 weeks to shed it, not really that sick , though, but lost my taste at the very end. My beloved Jiff was even put on hold cuz it gagged me. Only lasted about 4 weeks or so. BUT, I'm a long hauler. Every few months I get one or two symptoms that hang for a few days then disappear. Doesn't really bother me. And I refuse to get an arm full of poison and I'm not wearing a Burkha.
