So very recently I had a birthday. WooHoo, another year survived!!
Today, my brother Bobby, (Undertaker) stopped by the house and gave me a new Road Devil microphone. He new that I had been eyeing one for my stryker. So I put it on, and as I suspected, that combination worked great and sounded great! I had a QSO with @snippits75 , David in North Carolina and he kept going on about how great my radio was sounding. Also had a good QSO with 917 @ForestRunner98 in So Cali and he had nice things to say as well. When using it, I kept the mic gain on the radio @ 3 o'clock and the power on the mic at 1/4.
Thank you brother Bobby!!

Incoming Region Produces X3 Solar Flare
    May 15, 2024 @ 14:55 UTC
Another major solar flare, but this time from an active region just beginning to turn into view off the east limb. It is possible that the group responsible is old AR 3654 from the previous rotation. The latest flare, an X2.99 event just peaked at 14:38 UTC (May 15). Stay tuned
