Rfx95 loosing receive

Rfx95 loosing receive when powered up?!?
I have a cobra 29 ltd classic side mic with the Palomar rfx95 .. when the switch is powered up the receive plummets. Anyone else experience this ?? Also looses carrier , keys up 0 and swings upwards of 125 in pep mode on my Diamond sx-100 meter . 50 watts avg .. when it's off she deadkeys 2½ watts and swings 25..

Sounds like the key line is powered when you turn it on. The blue wire is supposed to get power only when you key the mic.

The jumper it's tapped into only shows 8 volts on key up ?!?

You should be able to hear the relay click when you key up. Maybe it is stuck?

Yeah I can hear it keying up when I key the mic . Not when I enable the rfx95. Its probably junk . I'll probably just take it off and fix up the 29 with the MOSFET conversion.. I appreciate your help sir . I'm not the guy whom Installed it . I picked it up this way dirt cheap and figured maybe I could getter working.
