I have searched again high and low without avail. If anyone here has a schematic for the Realistic TRC-446 it would be greatly appreciated. By the way it's not in the Sams Volume either... Thanks Dan

There is a "manual" for a 446 over on modsdk, but it does not say owners or service. i exceeded my one download/4 days limit so i cannot check for you.

Sorry, Dan, not turning up anything on that model. I can find the user/owner manual in lots of places, but no service info. If you've a got a board number it might help in locating a "sister" radio that does have a published schematic.

1999 radio, judging by the owner's manual at cbtricks.org. Seems to me RatShack had wound down from making service data available by then, more or less. Had a look around for this around 20 years ago, when before RS had imploded for good, never did find it.

Did a little more digging around, and the best I've been able to come up with that might be a similar radio is the Maxon MCB-100WX, for which I've also only been able to find the owner's manual.

I'll see if I can get the board number from my online friend.... Dan

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
