It's a bit intimidating at first glance. But keeping with only the power and modulation settings it's fairly easy to navigate. If you switch between AM and SSB like I do, it's easy to coordinate the power settings so that you need not adjust the power out put levels when switching modes. For example: I have mine set to an 8 watt dead key on AM, and then when I flip to SSB I use the amp and it drives at 35 to 45 pep without readjusting the RF power knob.

Avoid ordering any radios from garbage shops like Donkey Stomp Productions. That guy wants $30 to do simple conversion on Stryker 955HPC+. It takes longer for soldering iron to heat up than it does to solder the two pads together to complete the conversion.

Scott's Radio has the best deal on Stryker 955HPC+. Aligned/tune and mars (conversion) done for $449 before taxes and shipping, plus Scott will make a detailed video showing align/tune with spectrum analyzer. I don't know of any other radio shop that transparent. If someone knows of one that posts videos on youtube like Scott, let me know plz.

• D-Rail aka Wolfman CB shop wants $650 for same radio comes with *Free align/tune
• DX Radio Shop i think wants $550 for radio and charges $40-65 for align/tune/mars

Don't waste money buying heavy duty power cord for Stryker 955HPC+. It won't make any difference.
