Wow there is ingenuity! Good job, hope you did not have far to go.
ive loaded/ tied down many a load on flatbed trilers in my younger years. i know where to put tiedown n whre not to as well as dunnage location.
when mc nally mfg was going in pittsburg ks we got into a fun tiedown party. be short parts laying in i beams you spot n put dunnage on em then chain down. had to buy a roll of 3/8"x100'rope to completely be tied down. was hardware store across the road from mcnally. id go buy rope n cut to fit. knock on wood never lost anything either

That was a good use of a skid, it worked like a back rack! Good luck on the install, post pics when done!

thank you sir. im looking for 2 more sections of this tower then in spring and summer im thinking im seeing a huge erection. but remember im 70 n no big rush...labor wise but in mind spin those tires
