I have a Golden Falcon 400 I inherited a long time ago, been sitting in a box in the back of my closet. Don't know much about it, but I'm sure it was working well last time previous owner used it.
Is it a desirable piece of equipment in the ham world? Obviously I'm ignorant on the subject. It would seem to be a good thing if someone could make it broadcast again.

Bummer. Guess I'll toss it then. Thanks for the feedback. (and help with my decluttering)
Before tossing it put it on ebay or facebook market place. Someone will have a use for it. Amateur use qrp 10 meter to the 200 watt tech limit. Bypass the two driver tubes. Many early ARRL sweep tube amps in 70~80's handbooks. Add a band switch, tank circuits and go...
I'll pay shipping to 98674...

If that is a typical Golden Falcon...No filament transformer! Pulling the driver tubes mean the other tubes will have High filament voltage applied to them...Not just that simple a project!
Most of those Falcon's have ZERO documentation anywhere, never know what, or how they were each built...
