11 meter is very quiet?

JJ I heard you clear as a bell up here this afternoon. Heard 100% of your conversation with 785 & 204 Florida and 327 Alabama. I could hear both sides but you were much louder than they were. Go figure!
Tried QSKing and CQing a few times but couldn't get through. Those good 'ole boys are a lot closer to you than I am, and running a lot more power!
Warp 9 with my old amp is just about 200 watts. That's all she'll do Captain......
Tried for you again an hour later but skip had gone very long and 37/38 were dead. Just like yesterday I was hearing Minas Gerais (Brazil) and Buenos Aires Argentina on 555. At least we got conditions!

I heard WDX226 ROD in Texas call CQ-Dx and we talked for a minute or so and then he got covered up by the pile. Asked him to pick a different freq, but then lost him completely. I thought I heard 23 BC Coyote, but only for a moment.

Going to fIre up the base around noon EST again today. 37 LSB. Lot of contacts yesterday (20+), and hoping that today will be just as good. EPM was replacing a line transformer yesterday, so I was without power for a couple of hours in the afternoon. Hope that they're done with that.

Not sure if I'll have much time for radio today. We have family coming up for a visit and my youngest leaves for college on Saturday morning so there is LOTS of stuff going on here! I will try and sneak out to the shop from time to time and see if anything happening on the radio.
No radio for me today. We've been having storms moving through, and will for a few more days. It's bringing cooler temps, which is so nice this time of year. It's feeling a bit like fall.
Like Bro Dxer we had t-storms all day. No radioin' for me either.

Conditions are looking half decent at the moment, Might be on the air after 2pm on 37 LSB,Was Crazy busy yesterday at Five Guys where I work due to the first home college football game in my area(Penn State Nittany Lions) so I'm just taking it easy this morning and having lunch with my kid's today, hope everyone is doing well out there!!!!73

Well J.J. I tried calling out to you this afternoon but no dice, conditions just didn't cooperate for us, I was only able to make contact with someone in Lake Tahoe, Nevada,other then that,it was mostly static and faint station's in the background, anyone else have a good dx experience this Labor Day weekend at all????

Even though the solar site said good for 10-12 meter it didn't apply up here in NE/PA. I heard a very little. A good day to clean up the garage from all the projects.
