Just seeing this today. From Radtel - Iradio UV-98 Plus. Have skimmed some manuals and spec sheets on different sites. Wide Band. RX down into LW, has HF Segment 18-32mhz. Rx further up to 1Ghz. Is a 10 watter.
TRANSMITS on AM & SSB at least in the 18-32meg portion. Seen this info while browsing Googled Sites on this model ..... you have to skim through the instructions to glean the info.
3 VFOs - Can RX 3 different bands at the same time
Has Extra Antenna Port (middle top under a cap) for HF bands - SMA Female Connector.

This might be something if it does all these things.

So I did a Buy on one of these for the $65 just to FAFO. No big deal. Some websites and people say it only transmits only on FM while others say different things. Guess I'll find out. Will still be cool to have an HT with this wide of a VLF and HF range plus it apparently at least does TX on either 18-32 or 18-64 mhz FM - which will still make it the only HT in it's class that does this out of the box - that I am aware of.
And the 3 VFO's will be a plus. I only have 2 other HT's so one more ain't gonna kill me.
Will return and post a Review after I get it and have it all set up and checked out.
