President Jackson (042) ESP & EPT3600xx Radio Facelift and More

Thought this might be of interest to those with a Jackson 042 PCB or an EPT3600XX Ranger type. You can do it yourself or send it away to be done.

***NOTE*** no prices confirmed I believe and no website Yet! one coming though they say. Only info on Facepalm at the moment as far as I can tell.

Nice (potentially) if you have a "munter" of Jackson visually.

Cool! Turns it into a 2510. Complete with the low-level AM modulator and quirky control of the carrier. Just be sure to change the parts in the sideband AGC to make the receiver sound like a 2510. Sorta.

Very ambitious and functional upgrade.

Just had a flashback when I asked why SSB strong signals sounded so bad..... Least I was able to replace the few resistors and it made it ok....... Damn radio still sits on the shelf though...
