Grey 300? Probably not..

I was sent this amp to look over, it's marked 300 but I suspect it's a 200. I hear they were hand built and there is no standard schematic, meaning it could be any number of configurations utilizing 455 or 1446 pills. That's about all I gleened about it. I haven't opened it up yet.

Anyone have a clue about it? The 300 is a thick stencil instead of vinyl, someone added a fan stop, and I don't believe the front-center switch is factory, likely used to disable the internal AC/DC power supply so it could be used mobile.

Yes, someone changed the decal from 200 to 300, some had a meter some not.
All the ones I have seen are Torrid transfomer unregulated power supply.
Most have no bias
Early ones 455 later 1446

And no filter either. In other words, a splatterbox. Especially when overdriven, which it very probably was...........

I found that out when I opened it up, it's an over-volted, unbiased, unfiltered mrf455 splatter box. The built in supply is putting out 20+ VDC, and when I asked what it was being driven with, the reply was "you can't blow it up, doesn't matter" so back in the box it goes. I am getting burned out fixing junk.
