I have a good 2m VHF setup but no one is ever pointing at me and if they are they are on FT8.... i monitor repeaters in south Florida to tell when the band is open.

Ive got a weird issue with an icom IC 718, it wont power on after sitting for about 7 years...... i have started to diagnose the issue but now the old ribbon cables have become un usable after taking them out they read "AWM E41447 2896 VW -1" The problem is this seems to bring up many ribbon...

Was on most of the day, heard alot of cw and can hear the digital stuff, heard one convo on SSB. However we have had bad storms here now since 5pm so havent been on the radio. Really want to make a few QSO's current radar image http://smartmet.bahamasweather.org.bs/radarcomposite/
