    I have a wilson 5k,10 inch shaft,18 ft. coax, How long of whip do I need the for this antenna ? Thanks Bomber I ended up with 52 inchs on the whip , 1.1 swr Thanks guys! BOMBER

    10k vs wilson 5000 or 102 whip

    Thanks guys , I'm running a single 2000 wilson on each of my pickups in the center behind the cabs. They seem like they're working pretty good. I got a 10K coming next week and thinking about putting it on my good pickup. I'll see how that works. Thanks for your comments. Later, Bomber

    What is Your Favorite Base Antenna?

    Antenna I have owned a few different base antennas in my days and the last few have been fiberglass(A99s). Last fall a friend of mine gave me a new in the box Penetrator 500(aluminum), that my father sold to his father back in 1978. They had never put it up. Well, it's up now and what a talker.
