    If I turn down the DK power, will that misalign the radio?

    I have a stock 980 SSB and want to get a KL 203p but I see where many people say not to put more than 1, 2 or 3 watts in the 203p. I believe I know how to turn down the DK watts but don't want to misalign the radio by doing so.
