I bought a 250 amp alterstart alternator for my GMC that lasted for a week. I then took it to a local alternator shop and had it rebuilt. What alterstart doesn't tell is that you have to run that alternator at about 7000 RPM to get the full amount of amps.

I'm trying to decide between 2 capone antenna's or a 2 55 antenna's to run dual hots on my pickup truck, what would you recommend other than a 10k?

how about putting aluminum foil around the ecm unit. It might sound crazy, but a guy passing through up here had rfi problems with his electronically controlled truck (newer suburban).. he aluminum foiled pretty much the whole engine compartment, and his problems went away..

My truck isn't co-phased.. I would leave the coax hooked to your fm/am only antenna. You can disconnect it to see the difference if you want, I don't think it will pickup weak fm signals disconnected.
