I read that around the forums..thks! its not totally fixed, the RF driver and that MRF477 ate toasted, but going to figure out if I can use the driver and final from another radio..it seems the the MRF477 has a wierd pinout..
Yea! fixed! it was a loose metal clip on one of wires from the encoder to the PLL board harness..Sadly though, the RF driver and final are internally open..well, was a nice exercise..

actually there was a signal on the PLL that didnt seem right.Pin 15..it supposed to see a full square and a short square but it was I was looking at only a full square signal
