Scotts Radios did a review of this mic with his President McKinley. I just did a test. I took my stock mic from my President McKinley 1st gen. And with an RJ45 to P6 adaptor from Scott's radio I plugged my President McKinley stock mic into my Anytone 5555n ii and the audio circuit works. The...

What is your input tune with the amp inline and the amp in standby mode? Please check your pass-through tune first before you do anything.

I would look for a amp that will take a bigger dead key. A ft101e is a little too hot for a Palomar 300a in my opinion.

I believe the OEM A99 may have a capacitor inside to make it electrically longer. I know Imax 2000 does.But I could be wrong.
