I use all LMR-240 with a 60 foot run on my base. Also going to use it when my beam goes up this spring. Easy to work with and doesn't take up too much room. So far, performance has been exemplary.

Well, when I filled out my complaint, I mentioned the supervisor's name from the city who worked on the issue, the renter's names and the home owners names. I agree. Some cheap, garbage antennae will use the shield as a counterpoise and cutting the excess will whack out the match. I've been there as well. 99.999% of the antennae I have installed have been 108" whips or ground planes and have found the best jumper is the shortest jumper.
