i finally got around to building/installing this in my 06 ford diesel !! It worked like a charm !!! I can actually talk on the radio again with out tha all to familiar "where's the lawn mower" response I have grown accustomed to hearing ! thanks for the info

definitely gona give this a try . I drive a 06 F250 powerstoke .. with radio wired into the fuse panel i get a very loud "buzz" in the TX .. to the point that some thought i was in close proximity to lawn mower ! LOL rewired strait to the battery with some success , but still a slight...

Yup .. But our street view is a few years old. I dont know when they will update it the "satellite" view was updated this year. You could not see the antenna in the old "satellite" view .. to say the least it was a surprise to see it so clearly

Who said anything about a satellite ?? But ... Your right this was most likely taken from the belly of an airplane flying between 15,000 feet and 30,000 feet At that elevation i would consider the area a rather large "space"

in computer modeling the director lengths worked out well the driven and reflector elements will have to be adjusted spacing was also adjusted some .. Boom length is factory for the M107 if it works as good as the factory M107 with a little better band W , i'll be happy

i wanted something different and like playing around with stuff The M107 is very narrow banded . when tuned per the instructions you don't have to get very far from center frequency to see an unacceptable match. I am hoping the change with the larger diameter element will broaden the...
