I searched with google but found nothing. QT60-PRO/AT-5555II PRO VS Stryker 955

FWIW......I have found the 5555NII to be a very easy radio to work while mobile. The 955 does have the familiar "old school" controls but are too close together IMHO. The NII controls are actually easier to deal with mobile. Squelch, Rf gain, clarifier and Rf power are easy to reach without...

Looking for a CB / meter rig? Maybe 12m too?

Check out https://www.radioddity.com/ They have some very good, modern radios at excellent prices. These new radios are light years ahead of the radios of a couple of decades ago JD

Looking for a CB / meter rig? Maybe 12m too?

A very good radio. Most won't argue. However.......IMHO........choosing a Stryker over one of nearly identical radios, on the inside, is like buying a Buick or a GMC instead of a Chevrolet because they have more "bling" and paying the marked up price because it's prettier. You basically get the...

Presenting the reincarnation of the sl41 (stryker sr-76nc)

THIS^ My biggest reason I don't use my v1 955 anymore! It's a great sounding radio ( thanks to a couple of tweaks by @davew41 ), but the controls are too packed together and easy to inadvertantly mess up (fat fingers) when running mobile. Just might have to try one of these new Stryker mics on...

    Anytone 6666 Display Brightness

I don't believe there is any simple way to dim the display on the Quad 6. I have one and I never found the display to be terribly bright but it is an older unit. Maybe trying the red color at night might make it a little less intrusive? JD

    Anytone at-5555n II (version 2)

Anytone at6666, Stryker 955 cables should work. Might have to fiddle around with the COM port on the computer. Common issue. There are solutions posted. Google is your friend! JD

    Anytone Stock Mic/TX Noise Gate

Do any of the Anytone operators out there have any experience running the stock mic with the TX noise gate while running mobile? I run my 5555NII exclusively in the big truck. I always have a window cracked open. Due to the background noise inherent in big truck mobile operation, I have always...
