    trimming larson whip?

    just bought larsen nmo150 vhf antenna. chart says to trim to 47 3/8" for my frequency. is this measurement for what is actually visible or does it include the little bit that goes inside the base . i am not using a spring!! thanks in advance

    Magnet mount conversion

    Hello guys ! I have a Wilson 1000 magnet mount antenna and want to use a VHF Larsen 3 db gain nmo style antenna on this Wilson base . Is there such an adapter to do this or do need to buy a new mount?
