Yeah you should try it for my Semi trucks ... Last May Caterpillar had a 110% price hike ... I buy things in bulk when I can, like some O Rings. When I bought the bag of 100 I paid .14 cents each. They're now almost 5 dollars each ... It's Friggin INSANE! Glad the death wobble is gone!!

I appreciate the help but that isn't for a 97 and I don't have a super duty. '97 and earlier the F450-F550's were labeled as super duties but all had the same cab/interior as the rest of the F-Series. I have google searched, I have searched all over the interwebs for even custom made mounts...

I only got one notification of a response, and the last couple weeks have been hectic with some pretty nasty storms doing a TON of damage last Friday - thankfully my property wasn't effected, however my neighbors and the rest of central kentucky weren't so lucky ...

Finally after something like 15 years I'm getting around to getting into the Amateur side of life! Looking for suggestions for a 2m mobile antenna as well as one for the base. If you can provide links to the specific antennas referenced that would be great. 73's!!

I've never used Whistler branded equipment, might some googling and reading on places like Scanner Master that do nothing but sell scanners - they even have a rail section. Personally I use a little Uniden BC125AT for my railfanning but it's paired with a mobile antenna - sorry I can't give...

I'd offer to bring the digging toys by, but your home 20 is a bit of a drive ... be far cheaper to rent something haha - I've been out here this is the 13th year and I've not had a radio setup at all the entire time. I really don't want to do anything temporary as I'm afraid it'll turn into...
