Seller of course got agressive refused to acknowledge his mistake and refused to accept the return. I warned him this was a bad course of action. Ebay resolved the dispute in my favor. He WILL be refunding whether he wants to or not.

Well all I finally got the radios got them to talk to the PC wiped them but they won't transmit just beeeeeping when I try. I'm assuming it's something I did as I think I test transmitted one before wiping and it did TX. Best would be if someone had a codeplug for GMRS but if not that maybe...

Cant see why not. CHIRP is fairly intuitive, as long as you were able to unlock it and have the frequency range available you'll be fine.

A few people here are running 2nd hand Motorolla XTR5000 or Kenwood TK880s. Probably a little more difficult to program but great sounding quality gear.
