Well all I finally got the radios got them to talk to the PC wiped them but they won't transmit just beeeeeping when I try.
I'm assuming it's something I did as I think I test transmitted one before wiping and it did TX.
Best would be if someone had a codeplug for GMRS but if not that maybe...

A few people here are running 2nd hand Motorolla XTR5000 or Kenwood TK880s.
Probably a little more difficult to program but great sounding quality gear. I probably would have gone that route with more research but just jumped into GMRS quickly and bought Chinese stuff.
