If it's an older Icom with all the toys, go for it if the price is within your budget. I have several older Icom's that are still going strong, and really, are some of my favorites. Don't discount them because they're older. They are some of the best buys out there. --Luke

Mol, What about mapping? Can this do tracking, backtracking, etc.? Waypoints? I'm thinking more like the Garmin Rhino sort of thing, by 2 meter. I'd buy one straight away. --Luke

I've been trying to get set up like this as well. USB charging options are slim and hard to come by, and get figured out. Hope to see some great solutions, I'd like them as well.
