Go it receive is low, and the meter is not working in receive. The meter works for SWR and transmission.. I'm hooked. Bought another one just now and will be receiving it in about a week.
I ordered the parts for the receiver of the first one.
Now to work on the DDS
I know this is an Old Post.
I'm in the market for an SBE Console II 23-channel radio for developing a DDS-VFO for it. I make DDS-VFO's for the Browning Mark III, SSB-15, and Sonar FS 23 and 3023.
I see them on ebay for around $100.
Yes, the main radio is a Flex 50000a putting out 65 watts.
Then I would need a driver once I finish the restoration of the Browning Golden Eagle Mark III, which puts out about 10 watts. Then I would need one. I don't want to drive the box hard. The previous owner didn't, I asked this question...
I already tried that.
I just tried it again checked the box saved the profile shut the software off, and turned it back on. I modulated into the mic. still goes negative on peaks.
Sorry, I Thought I replied. Yes Phase Invert is unchecked in the setting of the Flex 5000a software.
O I did reply, it's above. I did check, it and had the same problem.
I even called MFJ The same the wires for the meter are wired backward. HAHAHAHA. Got the email They asked what band is it...
Not sure what you mean.
I have a Flex 5000a with a Studio Phantom Powered mic attached to the front of the radio and made sure Phase Invert was unchecked. (pic attached)
Thank You I have given up on it. and Its amazing that MFJ would say the wires are backwards did you check it? and if they are not then the diode's backward LOL
