Should have got a new one but dang the price. Any cb shop you would recommend. Heard Q5 communication is good.

Stryker is great. Same antenna. Rig analyzer say it’s good. Coax not pinched. From roof through grommet under the truck. No doors to go through. Got to be the radio. I’ll get it checked out. Stryker radio works great just wanted more power. That’s what I get.

It is a mag mount Stryker A10 antenna. I figured the ground may not be sufficient enough. No idea.

I appreciate it. Well…. Hooked up the radio and swr through the roof. With the Stryker A10 mag mount. Stryker radio perfect. I guess the mag mount won’t work with the 2970N4. I didn’t think it would. Rig expert aa55 Analyzer says it is perfect. I will call Breedlove today and get things rolling.

Yes please to pictures. I would highly appreciate it. Power cord should be showing up today for the 2970N4. I really like the Breedlove mount but the one I got did not fit right.

The battery in the truck has been upgraded a much larger AGM style battery. Came stock with the 220 amp alternator upgraded the power cables from the alternator to the battery. I just can’t wait to get this power cable so I can start testing different set ups for 2970N4 it should ring. Oh I do...

That’s good news to hear right there. I ordered a heavy duty power cable from a vendor. Four gauge copper terminals with an Anderson connector to go to the radio, and it’s fused.

Still looking at mounts. Going to call Breedlove tomorrow
