    Hey guys, I have a cobra 29 ltd classic that has variable power. All the way down it goes to 1 watt. All the way up it shows 6 watts. When I drop the dead key to 1 1/2 or 2 watts and I modulate, it only swings to 3 rms. Peak it does 20. How can I get it to swing the whole 6 watts? What would be...

    Recorder install help

    No I did not use the Pot. For some reason with the pot in circuit, play back volume is really low. So I connected it straight to the mic and it works but it’s just a little to much so I’d like to bring it down just a bit.

    Hey gang, could you share some examples on how you would perform this step in the transmit alignment procedure of a cobra 29 Ltd classic. Like the 80% modulation, what would that be? 80% output of the AF generator? What if your generator doesn’t have a percentage, how many mV would it be? Etc...
