I've got a Galaxy Echo Roger Beep desk mic hooked up to mine with a mic adaptor and the locals like the sound of it.
I keep the mic turned on and the power gain on the mic just under 5. My echo is set to 1 or just under.
They say it has a nice full sound to it.
Plus I get an extra beep in...
Playin' around with the radio today and looking at the screen I notice some bubbling... well low and behold. The radio did come with a screen protector when it was shipped.
This whole time I didn't think it was there but it was. Seeing as it was bubbling I went ahead and took it off.

Yeah it was from the UK. It wasn't too bad. Im not worried about it. I use it as a base so I don't really need to touch the screen. But still, mine didn't have a screen protector.
Not sure. I have it setup ss a base so I never touch the sceen however I think its probably susceptible to scratches though. Mine came with a few already on it and no plastic film for protection.
Buy a weatheradio then if you want the weather. As stated. These radios are not marketed or intended for North American markets so why bother with the features. Im quite content with the radio so far.
Reminds me of a guy in high school. His name was Gary.
Was trying to warm up a frozen gasline on a skidoo one time with a lighter.
Needless to say his name throughout high school became Gasline Gary. He'd get all upset if he heard you mention that.
