Passed the Tech exam last weekend and found my Callsign posted this evening. Tried out a pair of Baofeng UV-5RE HTs. They both worked very well with 'full quieting' on a number of repeaters with rubber duck antennas (from indoors) and with one of Dr. Fong's modified J-pole base antennas. I...
