thanks i do have a 5 wire and i will try it that way i might try it tonight every one has been telling me it can't be done and i don't see way not your going to tap into the same wire's in side the radio except for the power i think it takes 8.5 but i could be wrong so thanks for the help again...
well i checked it on the dummy load and it was fine it is set for 3 1/2 dead key and it has a swing of 20-25 watts on am and 30 on ssb and driving the box to 525-550 watts all is good !!!!
i have a 2600 that is loosing power i run a good mobile antenna with a good match i had it set to 7 watts dead key and it would swing up to around 25 watts checked it last week and it was at 5 watts and only swinging up to 10 watts now its at 3 watts with 8 on a swing i know its a older radio so...
That is cheap i was just asking because i like the desk mic that i have now and have the roger beep board so i was looking to see if it could be done..
Has any one ever put one in side a mic i have a hr2600 with a desk mic and want a beep but don't want it in the radio i have room in the mic to put it just need to know if it can be done ???
