Not sure. I bought it last year used, but from a cb shop that said it was top notch. Take that for what its worth. But I can set the squelch just over noise. and someone in the same parking lot will hold a conversation and I can only hear them not the others. If I put my old Uniden trucker...

Do you have experience with the 29LX would one of these have better receive. Is there a brand that has better receive as a rule. The 29LX is horrible.

Well thanks to all went with a Dave Made, found a great deal on it and remember I'm not driving it hard. It seems to be fairly clean as we tested it.. Now I know it will create some fead back but its not bleading channels or interference with radios or TV's
