Well all this time and I still have the boards tucked in a file cabinet, haven’t taken the time to do anything with them at all. I do however, have a donor 3300, the owner found out I had the boards and wanted me to try it. I guess the question at this point is are they even still available...

Toshiba part number is TTA1943. Of course you can use a TIP36C with exactly the same result.

Did you see the photo I posted, the one with the large display? That radio isn't being produced... isn't in development... and you're welcome to hold your breath until you see one for sale. The other two, the pro and II, yeah... that large display - NO.

I didn't say you couldn't talk on it but the design of it is just crappy. Poorly planned & designed circuits. It is what it is. If you know, you know... if you don't... you don't.

I can't say that I listen to channel 21. I spend most of the day on 19, sometimes 28 and 38LSB. And usually, you'll find ole Capt. Ritalin on one of the 3, 19 mostly, attempting to pump himself up and down everyone else that's forgotten more than he's managed to retain in his puffed up little...

And it's 7:42PM here and he's still going. It's ALL DAY LONG and the FCC doesn't do anything. If they don't stop that BS, then there's nothing anyone here on this forum can do that is worthy of drawing their attention.
