Its 27.125. Good old channel 14. Maybe it was marketed as communication between the farmhouse and a tractor. Maybe it will have better modulation than my Utica Town and Country 3. NOT! lol.
This one has me stumped. Never seen one before. And what is that little doohickey sticking out of the top of the case? Looks like maybe an attachment point for a whip antenna? Anyway for the price I couldn’t pass it up for the collection.
Been running this mint hand wired D201 I picked up about a month ago. It’s amazing. It had all original Tram labeled tubes with the exception of the Sylvania modulation and final tubes.
I’ve replaced all the Japanese made tram labeled tubes with NOS tubes that I prefer.
Audio Monster.
I’ve never seen another such copperish colored element. This is in the head of a NOS in the box, non amplified G stand I bought. Anyone else ever seen one?
I have read about the diodes in the D201 that can be clipped for more modulation. Is there a mod for the handwired version for more audio? Thanks for any info!
Package deal, radio and final edition D104.
Both mint. Radio works great. Loud clear audio with just the pot turned up. No hacking this baby, been looking for a mint one for years. Receive is amazing. AGC on/off function is awesome, very browning like. Really pulls in weak stations out in the weeds.
