Hi guys and gals . Just picked up a 1st Gen RCI 2950 today , thing was like opening up a time capsule . Man I looked everywhere on the small board and NO jumpers are marked . So I snapped a pic of the front board and you can see the Jumper below the CPU reset , is that jumper on the correct...
Yeah , I can just barely hear Kevin if its quiet ( ground wave ) . He seems to be on mostly in the summers , never hear anyone calling him during winter DX .

I'm in the North Okanagan , nestled in the mountains . Since all the good winter skip ended I haven't listened much . Nice weather is here and my outside 'to-do' list is long lol . Maybe with this short skip we'll hear each other this summer !

Thanks for the info , I'll look into that . Its a shame my nice old HD Radio Shack 5/8 cant be used just due to power handling. I'll figure something out , thanks

I also have a 2 ele delta loop up but being nestled in...
Just curious if anyone here has ever tried this ? I picked up a late 70's Radio Shack 5/8 vertical a couple of years ago and it is such a heavy-duty antenna, good thick-walled tubing, and quality everything. It's just the power handling of these is, let's say not adequate for these times we...

What I really want is the CLR locked like it came from the factory and the radio back on freq. I don't know why people unlock these 2950/70 clarifiers...
That thing is about 3.5 kc off on USB and LSB ( with the clarifier on 12 o'clock. The slugs no way had that much room to tune back on freq. This CLR mod is not like the one that Shockwav posted above. There's other parts clippity clipped lol . Oh well ....
