Yota's Amps

ITS SO WARM AND FUZZY FEELING AND STUFF AND JUNK LIKE THAT ON HERE .....MY GAWSH I MEAN GOLLY GEE!!!:blush:

I don't know about anyone else but I will say Peak A Boo builds some of the Best of the Best Amplifiers ever Built. Nothing but total Quality from start to Finish and he is not afraid to spend the extra time it takes to build a Quality Amplifier.

I can see why others would copy Peak A Boo Amplifiers, Nothing but the best. Read it, learn it, live it and Spell it = Peak A Boo.

He knows his shit and can back it up, you see the quality in each amplifier he builds. The next amplifier I buy I am having Peak A Boo build for me than I will show you all what quality is in building a Amplifier but until than all I can do is talk and I know talk is cheap but stay tuned and you will see what I am talking about.

Cotton Mouth.

Well - After Boo reworked my two Messengers, I was very pleased, he really got them rockin.

Sure I would like to have a nice Joker 300 or 400 also, but I am getting older and older ...no what I mean?

I'm just satisfied to have an amp that works well. Don't even use it that often. I try to let my radio and my antenna do the talking. That doesn't always work though - of course. What is the real advantage in a custom amp - if one has to jump thru hoops to get there? Buy a Dave Made or a Fat Boy competition amp and be done with it...

Well.....Looks like I am the topic again....Thanks Booty.....But I have always love Boo's amps....I even have a dave made I sent him that he made into a 12 pill for me with switchable ab-1 and c on a switch....Think you remeber steve.

On the combiners, I think they are one of the best ones....takes more time to do them but I like them. Thanks for saying I am coping a good one.

But people say..my amps are like Boo's...Yay for me....Steve...you spent many of time on the phone with me and devlin like in 1999-2000, dont know if you remeber...same time you and fred "twister" where going to gointo buisness together...and think you got burned...

But I still build the same way....I may use Boo's design, use his combiner system..but why not...its awesome....

I'm in the same boat.... I build maybey 1 amp a month...but I have a hard time getting rid of them because the cb market is way smaller up here in Canada. Even then...when I do find guys that want them, they think a 100 watt amp is big. So I only build small stuff usually.
I will openly admit that I copy Boo's Hybrid combiner design. I hate copying anything. But his amps were the first ones I've seen with that design. After digging up a Motorola App sheet ( someone sent it to me years ago) I found some info on the design and started doing it myself. I would'nt have tried that design if I didn't see a Joker first.

I used to like Twister amps too years ago. Cookie built some nice stuff years ago.
Jokers have always been my favorite.

You got some real nice stuff there Yota.... its nice to see something different.
