Like how as example..there is a program in Pa.. that enables out of state people to attend a college/university ( often already via a misguided grant)..then..those people can say/claim they have no money or job and need living expenses...so what does Pa do....give those students food stamps as well as $500 a month in cash ( sent directly to their atm card...
Although it sounds good...it is not the low income people who are taking advantage of this..rather middle and upper class people who do not have to show they are down and out to qualify for the entitlement program..
( so now my taxes has wound up sending my wealthy neighbors kid to college/university while also giving those same kids $500 a month along with food stamps)

So..The goverment collects what it does in tax revenue in one side... on the other it blindly gives entitlements to countless who are not ( or should not ) be so entitled..

the example i gave was but one extremely small example..
There are 1000's of other such wasteful programs that are ripe with extreme taking advantage of entitlement programs..

The Oboma mind is to give everyone what looks like ( what one perceives as needing ) but do not force the people to work for it..
These people need make due with a smaller amount of money but do so because it is easy ( and in their minds surely easier then working hard for their money )..

if Entitlement programs were closed ( the useless ones..and there are many countless useless ones) and keep in mind...one can not and never should touch entitlement programs for the elderly or military or those who are legitimaly disabled ..

everyone else should work..pay for what they need require..

There is no such thing as a free lunch..

What...you think free meds like in canada or in europe is good..
Then why when one is told they are suffering from this or that illness do they all of the sudden come to usa for meds ? .. because their country puts them on a list to receive med services..

my point..there is no free lunch...no free rides..
Stop the endless abuse..
Stop the endless legislating other useless entitlement programs ( which only become again ripe with abuse )..

Then...our waste will go away...our deficits will go away..

So..all you dummies for Oboma...look where we are now..
( sure as heck not where we need to be or want to be )

So...go ahead...say you will tax ( do you really think you are taking their money....really ?? ) the rich people...
There will only be yet again many more Entitlement programs for them to pilfer and take back ( and then more ) of what they made look like they were paying...

I won't disagree with all of that.
The system needs to be made to be fair to start working again is all.
To try is better than to not try at all.

He hasn't proposed any new taxes. Flat, Fat or Round.

He is for eliminating the IRS and Federal Reserve.

If he's a Libertarian, it's because he goes by the Constitution.

I don't agree with the sick part, but the rest is kinda accurate.

The thing is, you can tax the richest at a 100% rate, and they will still not pay anything. Certainly not Buffet.

They put their money into tax-free foundations and pay nothing. Of course they can preach about "taxing the rich", they will be unaffected.

Sure, there are some welfare abuses.
But its small potatoes compared to our military budget: We spend as much on military as the rest of world combined.

This is unsustainable to have such large military spending while simultaneously keeping taxes on the rich at such historically low levels.

Way true.

I'm all for a strong national DEFENSE but we're going broke fighting these offensive "wars" on other country's ground and sometimes for completely false reasons like Bush's non-existent WMD and Iraq. Bush should be taken out back and shot with some of those bullets we bought.

Our military purpose be reformed allowing for domestic use of the troops during peacetime. They could be patrolling the borders, helping in times of natural disasters and other useful purposes.

BTW, at the top of the screen you can change the numbers from dollars (billions) to GDP.
